Last Thursday I posted my 30 Day Challenge and I said I’d start it Monday, which means today is… Day One. Here’s my battle plan for the 30 days:

–          20-30 minutes of cardio (+extra time for resistance training) every second day

–          Probably will break those up into 2 or 3 ten minute sessions

Probably doesn’t sound like much, but that’s the idea; if I plan on doing like an hour each day every day, one of two things will happen: 1. I’ll injure myself or/and 2. I’ll just get sick of it and give up. I’m determined that this time I’ll stick with it, so I’m taking every second day off- to give myself time to adjust to the new system. I want this to be a lifestyle change- not just a 30 day thing. Though 30 days doesn’t sound as daunting as:  For Life.

I’m not doing this to lose weight- I want to get a healthy lifestyle and get fit. Getting fit will be a challenge to me since I’m not the most athletic of humans, but I believe anyone can do it and I want to prove that.

My plan for today in particular:

–          Two ten minute jogs (I’ve made a playlist on my ipod for happy upbeat music to make this less painful lol)

–          Probably some hula hooping… just because I love hula hooping :D

Doesn’t sound too bad I hope! I plan on updating this part of my blog every second day (since I’m taking alternating days off), thus Wednesday will be Day 2.

Not a whole lot else to say, so I’ll leave it at that and I’ll add in an edit later if I met my goals or not. Hopefully I will- I’ll stay positive. Wish me luck! :)
