In life, there are only two things to worry about: either you are well or you are sick.
If you are well, there’s nothing to worry about.
But if you are sick, there are only two things to worry about: either you get better or you die.
If you get better, there’s nothing to worry about.
If you die, there are only two things to worry about: either you go to heaven or you go to hell.
If you go to heaven, there’s nothing to worry about.
If you go hell… you’ll be so busy shaking hands with all your friends, you won’t have time to worry!
It’s a poem that was written on a fridge magnet (it was a pretty big magnet…) I had years ago. I used to think it was the stupidest poem ever- as a child, I couldn’t get past the fact that it started off by saying there’s two things to worry about and ends up saying there’s nothing to worry about. That doesn’t make sense!
But funnily enough, thinking of it now, I think there’s an interesting message to be taken from it. People spend so much time worrying about silly things. Sometimes we just need to take a step back and relax. And sometimes we can even make something good of a bad situation.
Even if you hit rock bottom- least the only way is up.
So moral of story- Don’t worry, it’ll be grand!
